Any song in Mudville
that needs a little bit of the blues is right up my alley.
As John Duvall would say;  "I am the spike!!"
I started playing the harmonica while in the Navy when out to sea and nobody could hear me.!!...I discovered Little Walter, James Cotton, Sonny Terry and a whole lot of others who inspired me to practice bending notes and getting a big sound out of that little harp.  It all started when my good friends Phil & Grace Hodge came over to jam one day and they started playing Pride and Joy.  I just happened to have an A harp handy and joined right in.  You should have seen the look on their faces, they had no idea I could play the harp!

Well, they talked the residents of Mudville into letting me play on Pride and Joy and then Mary Jane's Last Dance.  Since then the song list just keeps growing!  I really love playing on some of the original songs that the Mafia just recorded.  Wait 'till you hear How The West Was Won by Tim Neal and Midnight Angel by John Duvall.
Some of my own favorite work!! That's some hot stuff!!

I am proud to be the "Spike" in Mudville and appreciate the opportunity to play with true professionals.
